Nkoranza Warriors forward Kwame Poku has confirmed he is holding talks with Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko.

The 20-year-old who is currently at the Black Meteors camp preparing for CAF U-23 AFCON to be staged in Egypt says he is eagerly waiting for the deal to be finalized as the chance to wear the Porcupine Warriors jersey will be a dream come true.

The Reds are looking for the forward to beef up their attack ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

"It’s true I have spoken with some management members of Kotoko but we are yet to finalize the talks for my signature," he told Ashh FM Sports.

"I’m currently at the Black Meteors camp and focused on the tournament ahead but I’m waiting for the deal to be finalized."

"It is every player’s dream to play at the highest level in his career so I will be very happy to join Kotoko."

"It would be a dream come through for me to play for Kotoko because I have been waiting for this opportunity for a very long time."

Kwame Poku says unlike other players struggle to replicate their potential for Asante Kotoko, he will prove to be a success once the deal is done.

"I can play Kotoko very easily if I get the opportunity to join because I do everything with determination and believe," he ended.

Poku scored ten (10) goals for Nkoranza Warriors in their GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition campaign.
