One of the National Security Operatives, Bright Ernest Akomeah has told the Ayawaso Commission that he identified some NDC security members on the day of the by-election at Ayawaso West Wuogon.

Mr Akomeah says he identified NDC security members in the crowd namely  Shaibu, Mohammed Tanko, Bala, Rashid Theophilus among others.

"I knew them before and they knew I work with National Security and I have known them for a long time. In 2016 I met them at rally, and I know them to be NDC security''.

The SWAT member said the commander gave an instruction to the team to give one warning shot to control the crowd on the day and in retaliation, the crowd fired three warning shots.

Again, he told the commission he couldn't recall the number of warning shots discharged by the SWAT team.
