The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has released the timetable for its 2026 constituency, regional and national executive elections.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 5, the party said its Functional Executive Committee (FEC) approved the roadmap at a meeting held on August 4.
The timetable outlines the key stages of the internal election process, including the opening of nominations, filing of forms, vetting, appeals and voting.
According to the timetable, nominations for constituency executive positions will open from September 15 to 17, while constituency elections will be held on October 24 and 25.
For the regional elections, nominations will open from October 6 to 7, with regional executive elections scheduled for November 14 and 15. The Regional Youth and Women Conference will take place on November 13.
At the national level, nominations for executive positions will open from October 20 to 21, while filing of nominations will take place from November 7 to 9. Vetting of aspirants is scheduled for November 12 and 13, followed by an appeals process on November 15 and 16.
The party will hold its National Youth and Women Conference on December 12, while the National Congress, where national executives will be elected, is scheduled for December 19, 2026.
The NDC urged its regional and constituency executives, aspirants and members to study the timetable carefully and comply with all deadlines to ensure a smooth, transparent and credible electoral process.
