Ghana Premier League clubs have reached an agreement with the Normalization Committee to play in the Special Competition.

The decision was arrived in a meeting today at the FA secretariat.

A meeting between the Normalization Committee and the aggrieved clubs on Tuesday morning has achieved its aim of getting the Special Competition underway with the involvement of clubs in the top flight.

"We had a fruitful discussion with the Normalization Committee and we have reached a certain level" said Patrick Akoto spokesperson of the Ghana Premier League Clubs.  

"We are happy with the new terms, arrangements and the format of the play has been altered.

"Other concerns that we had also, has been addressed so we are happy that we will be returning to the pitch on February 3" he ended.
