AFCON 2021 qualifiers: Black Stars to depart Ghana for Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday

The senior national team, the Black Stars will be leaving the shores of the country for Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday ahead of their Group C encounter for AFCON 2021 qualifiers.

The West African country started off their campaign in the qualifiers with an important 2-0 win against South Africa on Thursday night.

In a game played at the Cape Coast Stadium, two goals from Thomas Partey and Mohammed Kudus handed the home side all 3 points.

Ghana now turns attention to her next game in the qualifiers which will be against Sao Tome and Principe as they will be hoping to get a possible 6 out of 6 points in two games.

Kwesi Appiah and his charges will be departing to Sao Tome and Principe to honour matchday 2 of the AFCON 2021 qualifiers on Monday, November 18.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars will be training today at the newly constructed astroturf at Madina as part of their recovering session.

They will hold another session at the same venue on Saturday before flying out of the country on Sunday.
